Auspex (“Auspex,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides a career, education, and personal-finance planning tool available at useauspex.com (the “Service”). The Service is operated by [legal entity name], located in [jurisdiction]. You can reach us at hello@auspex.app.

Auspex provides educational guidance, estimates, and projections. It is not financial, investment, tax, legal, accounting, career, or admissions advice, and it is not a substitute for a licensed professional. Salary, net-worth, cost, AI-exposure, and admission figures are modeled estimates based on public data and your inputs; they carry uncertainty and will differ from real outcomes. You are solely responsible for decisions you make. We do not guarantee any employment, salary, admission, financial, or other result.

You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) to create an account. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your login credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.

• The core features are free. Auspex Pro is an optional auto-renewing subscription billed through our payment processor, Stripe, at $9.77 / month or $59.77 / year, following a 7-day free trial (where offered).
• Unless you cancel before the trial or current period ends, the subscription renews automatically at the then-current price, and your payment method is charged.
• You can cancel anytime via the “Manage subscription” link in your Stripe receipt email or by contacting us. On cancellation you keep Pro access until the end of the paid period, then revert to the free tier; your saved data remains.
• Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable for partial periods. We may change prices or features with reasonable notice; changes apply to the next billing cycle.

You agree not to: misuse, scrape, overload, reverse-engineer, or disrupt the Service; resell or redistribute its data or outputs as your own product; attempt to access other users’ data; or use the Service for unlawful purposes.

Career, education, and labor figures are derived from public sources including O*NET, the U.S. Department of Education’s College Scorecard, and the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, used under their respective terms. The Service, its software, design, and original content are owned by us and protected by intellectual-property laws. Your plans and inputs remain yours.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that estimates will be accurate.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Auspex and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, savings, opportunities, or data, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or USD $50.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Auspex from claims arising out of your misuse of the Service or violation of these Terms.

We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time.

We may update these Terms; material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, additional notice. Continued use after changes means you accept them.

These Terms are governed by the laws of [state / country], without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the courts located in [venue], unless applicable law requires otherwise.
